Research Conference on Biotechnology, Digital Technologies and Challenges in Natural Resources, on the 46th Anniversary of the Professional School of Engineering in Renewable Natural Resources

  • Within the framework of the 46th anniversary of the Professional School of Engineering in Renewable Natural Resources of the National Agrarian University of La Selva (UNAS), the Research Conference was held: Biotechnology, Digital Technologies and Challenges in Renewable Natural Resources, an academic activity that brought together renowned researchers, teachers and students, in the Aula Magna of the university.
  • The conference was a favorable space for the dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge aimed at sustainability and the responsible management of natural resources. Prominent specialists from UNAS and other institutions participated as speakers, including Dr. Perci Peter Coaguila Rodríguez, Dr. Julio Alfonso Chia Wong, Dr. Ladislao Ruíz Rengifo, Dr. Luis Valdivia Espinoza, Dr. William Marchand Niño, Dr. Cassiano Aguirre Escalante, Dr. Roberto Carlos Cosme de la Cruz and Dr. Yané Levi Ruiz, who shared research and experiences in their respective fields.
  • During the event, the Vice-Rector for Research, Dr. Julián García Céspedes, highlighted the importance of promoting these academic spaces that strengthen the research culture and enrich the training of students. He noted that “it is a magnificent event that promotes scientific development and allows the exchange of updated knowledge.”
  • For his part, the Academic Vice-Rector, Dr. Lucio Manrique de Lara Suárez, reaffirmed the commitment of the university authorities to support scientific initiatives that raise the academic and professional quality of future graduates. “These spaces are essential to ensure solid and forward-looking training,” he stated.
  • The president of the organizing committee, Dr. Vicente Pocomucha Poma, thanked the university authorities for their institutional support and the students for their active participation. He highlighted that this event is part of the activities commemorating the anniversary of the professional school, reaffirming the commitment to academic excellence, scientific research and sustainable development.
