PRESENTATION

Livestock Production is part of the national economy, due to its close relationship with the production of foods with high nutritional value and the rural environment. The Peruvian Association of Animal Production (APPA), as a non-profit organization, made up of professionals from the Agricultural sector (Zootechnicians, Veterinarians, Agricultural Engineers and related professionals), dedicated to the generation of new knowledge through the development of new research in the livestock field, grants the organization of the “XLII Annual Scientific Meeting” to the Faculty of Zootechnics of the National Agrarian University of the Selva - UNAS located in the Peruvian Amazon, with the city of Tingo María becoming the center of research and development of new advances in the livestock sector.

AIM

Integrate and publicize the advances and new trends in animal production both in the national and international markets, taking into account the pillars of production such as feeding, reproduction, genetics and management; In addition to adding to these a very important factor such as environmental conservation, generating sustainable production over time with the aim of increasing the productive and quality indices in animal husbandry in the 24 departments of our country, taking into account the characteristics of the great natural diversity existing in each of these, giving competitiveness to our breeding and applying R&D&i (research, development and innovation).
