INSTITUTIONAL STATEMENT: Application of storage limits in institutional email and OneDrive

The National Agrarian University of La Selva (UNAS) informs the entire university community that, in compliance with the Directive for the Use of Institutional Email, as of Monday, May 25, 2026 the storage limits policy for institutional email services and OneDrive will be implemented.

This measure aims to strengthen the responsible management of institutional technological resources, guarantee the availability of services and improve the security and administration of digital information.

Storage limits per user group

Other users	1GB

Applicable measures for excess storage

Users who exceed the assigned limit are informed that they must back up their information and perform the corresponding purification before the date of application of the measure.

Once the policy is implemented:

• Information that exceeds the allowed capacity will be sent to the trash.
• Institutional email will go into reading mode for 30 days, a period in which the user will not be able to send or receive emails, or upload files.
• Subsequently, excess information will be permanently deleted.

The University recommends that all users periodically review the space used in their institutional accounts and maintain only information necessary for the development of academic and administrative activities.
