Request to vacate state-owned real estate – UNAS
The National Agrarian University of the Selva (UNAS), in compliance with its functions as a public entity managing State assets and safeguarding its institutional assets, informs the university community and the general public of the following:
During the heritage verification actions carried out by the Administration Office and the Heritage Unit, the irregular occupation of a state-owned property attached to this higher education institution, located in the area known as “Las Brunas de la UNAS” has been confirmed.
In this verification, various people have been identified who have been occupying areas of the land without having any authorization, a situation that constitutes invasion of state property and generates a direct impact on the academic, scientific and university extension purposes that UNAS develops in accordance with its institutional mission.
Due to the above, and in application of the current regulations on state assets and public education, the UNAS has proceeded to issue letters of formal request to the people involved, urging them to completely vacate the land within a maximum period of five (5) business days, counted from the receipt of the corresponding document.
Likewise, the immediate removal of all property, installation or construction placed in the occupied area, under responsibility, has been requested.
It is noted that, in the event of non-compliance within the established period, the National Agrarian University of La Selva will be obliged to initiate the relevant legal actions, which include judicial eviction and the corresponding criminal complaints for the alleged crimes of usurpation and damage to the State's assets, in accordance with the provisions of the Code Peruvian Penal Codeand other applicable regulations.
The UNAS reaffirms its commitment to the defense of public heritage, respect for the rule of law, and the protection of spaces intended for higher education, research and sustainable development of the region and the country.
