Students from the Faculty of Engineering in Food Industries trained residents of Pueblo Nuevo in the added value of native fruit products with the aim of strengthening family agriculture for food security and the generation of economic income.

Engineer Maritza Solís Terrones, a UNAS graduate, explained the benefits of her plots and the importance of the transformation of their agricultural products in the Tulumayo Research and Production Center attached to La Divisoria.

This workshop course on the preparation of native fruit products was led by Professor Eng. Luz Elita Balcazar Terrones, training professionals with excellence and committed to the development of the Country.
