The Admissions Directorate is the line body responsible for the organization, management and execution of all applicant admission processes to UNAS, in coordination with the Admission Commission elected each year.
Functions of the Admission Department:
- Plan, propose, convene and execute undergraduate admission contests for the selection of applicants to the University.
- Develop admission exams in their various phases.
- Formulate and propose the admission standards, systems and methods that must be adopted annually.
- Study, propose and implement new procedures in the selection of applicants to UNAS.
- Coordinate and supervise with the UNAS Pre-University Center the selection processes for direct entry, as well as with the corresponding instances regarding special entry programs.
- Organize, program, execute and evaluate vocational guidance talk programs at the local and regional level.
- Formulate and disseminate the regulations and admission prospectus.
- Supervise and coordinate with the Graduate School the selection and admission processes.
- Plan, execute and supervise the collection actions of statistical information for the admission processes.
- The other functions assigned by the Academic Vice-Rector.
